Friday 26 May the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is holding an event on nutrition titled “Impact Assessment of Policies to Support Healthy Food Environment and Healthy Diets” in the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.
The celebration will be an opportunity to discuss the importance of integrating biodiversity into relevant policies, plans and programmes addressing agriculture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture.
The event will provide insights into the concept of sustainability in food and agriculture with regard to biodiversity, and possible measures, guidance and tools needed to promote the mainstreaming of biodiversity across sectors.
